Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 63,760 of Charleston city, SC households, there were 7,388 households (11.59%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 5,544 households (8.70%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.

On the other hand, there were 16,476 households (25.84%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 4,603 households (7.22%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
