South Dakota Household Income Distribution in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, among the 345,779 households, there were 17,951 households (5.19%) that had a household income that fell in the $200K - and Over category, and there were 19,680 households (5.69%) that had a household income that fell in the $150K - Less $200K category.

On the other hand, there were 105,034 households (30.38%) that had a household income that fell in the Less $40K category, and there were 30,103 households (8.71%) that had a household income that fell in the $40K - Less $50K category.
