Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households in New York with household income of Less than $40K was 23.74%. Among all New York counties, Chautauqua County had the highest percentage of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of Less than $40K (38.83%), followed by St. Lawrence County (38.00%), and Cattaraugus County (37.84%).

On the other hand, the following 3 counties had low percentages of Non-Hispanic White Alone households with household income of Less than $40K: Nassau County (14.08%), Suffolk County (15.32%), and New York County (15.54%).
