Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for the American Indian and Alaska Native Alone racial group in New Jersey was 17.97%. Among all New Jersey counties, the American Indian and Alaska Native Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Camden County (44.52%), followed by Atlantic County (44.31%), and Hunterdon County (29.13%). On the other hand, the American Indian and Alaska Native Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 counties: Burlington County (5.72%), Warren County (5.8%), and Monmouth County (6.24%).
