Among all Massachusetts counties, the Black or African American Alone racial group had the highest poverty rate in Franklin County (27.49%), followed by Hampden County (24.51%), and Hampshire County (23.06%). On the other hand, the Black or African American Alone racial group had the lowest poverty rate in the following 3 counties: Nantucket County (8.63%), Barnstable County (9.93%), and Norfolk County (11.98%).
