Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for New York was 13.45%. Among all New York counties, Bronx County had the highest poverty rate (26.5%), followed by Kings County (18.8%), and Broome County (18.74%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Nassau County (5.46%), Putnam County (6.05%), and Saratoga County (6.38%).
