Based on the US Census ACS-5Yrs estimates, in 2021, the Poverty Rate for North Dakota was 10.72%. Among all North Dakota counties, Sioux County had the highest poverty rate (38.53%), followed by Benson County (30.17%), and Rolette County (26.94%). On the other hand, the following 3 counties had the lowest poverty rate: Sheridan County (4.33%), Slope County (4.52%), and Griggs County (4.82%).
