According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2003 Q1 was $818. Among all California counties, Santa Clara County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,237), followed by San Francisco County ($1,232), and San Mateo County ($1,090). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest average weekly wage ($357), followed by Modoc County ($445), and Siskiyou County ($463).
