According to the data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average weekly wage for California in 2004 Q1 was $855. Among all California counties, Santa Clara County had the highest average weekly wage ($1,343), followed by San Francisco County ($1,313), and San Mateo County ($1,207). On the other hand, Alpine County had the lowest average weekly wage ($396), followed by Modoc County ($445), and Siskiyou County ($476).
