According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q1, the average weekly wage for Maryland was $963. Among all Maryland counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.24K), followed by Baltimore city ($1.04K), and Howard County ($1.02K).

On the other hand, Garrett County had the lowest average weekly wage ($525), followed by Worcester County ($549), and Queen Anne's County ($597).
