According to data from the US BLS, in April 2020, the United States Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): Northeast - Size Class B/C was 159.365 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 0.6%% (not seasonally adjusted). The Food at home item had the highest 12-month percent change or inflation rate (4.7%), followed by Tuition, other school fees, and childcare (4.0%), and Food away from home (4.0%).
