According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May 2020, the United States not seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): South Atlantic was 104.071 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 0.0%. The following item categories had the highest not seasonally adjusted 12-month percent change in CPI-U:

  1. Food at home: 5.8%
  2. Rent of primary residence: 3.5%
  3. Food away from home: 3.1%
