According to data from the US BLS, in March 2022, the United States Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): Urban Alaska was 366.188 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 23.7%% (not seasonally adjusted). The Motor fuel item had the highest 12-month percent change or inflation rate (51.3%), followed by Food at home (9.2%), and Owners' equivalent rent of residences (6.0%).
