According to data from the US BLS, in July 2016, the United States Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): West - Size Class B/C was 145.85 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 0.6%% (not seasonally adjusted). The Food away from home item had the highest 12-month percent change or inflation rate (5.4%), followed by Rent of primary residence (3.5%), and Owners' equivalent rent of residences (2.7%).
