United States Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) and Inflation Rate: West South Central in May 2019 (Not Seas Adj.)

According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in May 2019, the United States not seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): West South Central was 102.732 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 1.0%. The following item categories had the highest not seasonally adjusted 12-month percent change in CPI-U:

  1. Food away from home: 3.2%
  2. Owners' equivalent rent of residences: 3%
  3. Tuition, other school fees, and childcare: 2.7%
