According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in July 2020, the United States not seasonally adjusted Consumer Price Index for all urban consumers (CPI-U): West South Central was 103.058 and the 12-month percent change (inflation rate) was 0.0%. The following item categories had the highest not seasonally adjusted 12-month percent change in CPI-U:

  1. Food away from home: 2.8%
  2. Rent of primary residence: 2.8%
  3. Food at home: 2.6%
