According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2011, the median weekly earnings (not seasonally adjusted) of full-time workers aged 16 years and above in the United States for mathematicians, was $1,610; median weekly earnings of male mathematicians was $2,187, and that of females in the same occupation was $1,600.
