According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2011, the median weekly earnings of full-time workers aged 16 years and above in the United States for sociologists, was $625. The median weekly earnings of female sociologists was $625 in 2011, and that of males in the same occupation was $300 in 2010.
