According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2022, the median weekly earnings (not seasonally adjusted) of full-time workers aged 16 years and above in the United States for writers and authors, was $1,426; median weekly earnings of male writers and authors was $1,565, and that of females in the same occupation was $1,341.
