United States Median Weekly Earnings By Race and Ethnicity of Full-Time Workers with a High School Diploma

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2022, the median weekly earnings (without seasonal adjustment) of full-time working Blacks aged 25 years and over in the United States who have a high school diploma (with no college education), was $747; that of Whites in the same age group and educational level was $884, and that of Asians in the same age group and educational level was $784. Also, the median weekly earnings of Hispanics, of all racial backgrounds, in the same age group and educational level was $795.

A closer look at the median weekly earnings of full-time U.S. workers with only a high school diploma in 2022 by race, hispanic ethnicity, and gender, reveals the following rankings:

  1. White Men: $982
  2. Asian Men: $868
  3. Hispanic Men: $864
  4. Black Men: $809
  5. White Women: $748
  6. Asian Women: $710
  7. Hispanic Women: $703
  8. Black Women: $697
