United States Median Weekly Earnings By Race and Ethnicity of Full-Time Wage And Salary Workers Aged 25 years and Over (Not Seasonally Adjusted)

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, in the fourth quarter of 2022, the following were the usual median weekly earnings by race and hispanic ethnicity of full-time wage and salary workers, who were at least 25 years old in the United States. The usual median weekly earnings of blacks was $921; that of whites was $1,158, and that of asians was $1,530. Also, the median weekly earnings of Hispanics, of all racial backgrounds, in the same age group and educational level was $876.

A closer look at the median weekly earnings of the fourth quarter of 2022 by race, hispanic ethnicity, and by gender, reveals the following rankings and disparitites in the weekly earnings between these unique demographics of the United States population:

  1. Asian Men: $1,725
  2. Asian Women: $1,373
  3. White Men: $1,255
  4. White Women: $1,030
  5. Black Men: $998
  6. Hispanic Men: $929
  7. Black Women: $885
  8. Hispanic Women: $805
