According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Accommodation and Food Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2004:

  1. North Carolina: 10,800
  2. Illinois: 9,700
  3. Massachusetts: 9,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Accommodation and Food Services industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2004:

  1. Vermont: -5,000
  2. Florida: -1,900
