According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:

  1. New York: 13,300
  2. New Jersey: 6,000
  3. California: 4,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2013:

  1. Florida: -1,400
  2. Georgia: -1,100
  3. Arizona: -700
