According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2014:

  1. New York: 12,000
  2. New Jersey: 5,900
  3. Massachusetts: 3,800

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2014:

  1. Florida: -1,800
  2. Alabama: -700
  3. Indiana: -600
