According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2020:

  1. Ohio: 7,800
  2. Michigan: 7,100
  3. North Carolina: 4,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2020:

  1. Florida: -40,000
  2. California: -28,100
  3. District of Columbia: -2,000
