According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2003:

  1. California: 17,200
  2. Illinois: 9,300
  3. Minnesota: 8,900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2003:

  1. Louisiana: -600
  2. Mississippi: 0
  3. Alabama: 100
