According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2005:

  1. Florida: 6,600
  2. Texas: 3,200
  3. Arizona: 1,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2005:

  1. Illinois: -14,200
  2. Pennsylvania: -11,900
  3. Michigan: -11,500
