According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2007:

  1. Alabama: 1,500
  2. Mississippi: 400
  3. Kentucky: -200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2007:

  1. California: -14,500
  2. Florida: -7,500
  3. Minnesota: -4,200
