According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2009:

  1. New Hampshire: 400
  2. Arkansas: -200
  3. North Dakota: -200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2009:

  1. California: -12,100
  2. New York: -7,000
  3. Ohio: -5,000
