According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2010:

  1. Florida: 1,700
  2. Georgia: 400
  3. Alaska: 100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2010:

  1. California: -8,200
  2. Maryland: -7,600
  3. New York: -7,100
