According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2010:

  1. Michigan: 9,200
  2. California: 8,400
  3. New York: 8,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2010:

  1. Florida: -1,200
  2. Arizona: -200
  3. New Mexico: 100
