According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Construction industry in April, 2011 were:

  1. New York: 17,100
  2. Illinois: 15,100
  3. Ohio: 12,800

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Construction industry in April, 2011 were:

  1. Alabama: -300
  2. Mississippi: 200
  3. New Mexico: 800
