According to recent data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the 3 U.S. states that added the highest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Construction industry in February, 2011 were:

  1. Georgia: 5,600
  2. North Carolina: 4,700
  3. California: 2,300

On the other hand, the 3 U.S. states that added the lowest not seasonally adjusted number of jobs to the Construction industry in February, 2011 were:

  1. Michigan: -3,100
  2. New York: -2,700
  3. Massachusetts: -2,600
