According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2012:

  1. New York: 13,900
  2. Illinois: 12,000
  3. Minnesota: 10,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in April, 2012:

  1. Florida: 0
  2. Arkansas: 100
  3. New Mexico: 300
