According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2012:

  1. California: 16,200
  2. New York: 9,900
  3. Illinois: 7,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in June, 2012:

  1. Mississippi: -900
  2. North Carolina: 100
  3. Alabama: 100
