According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2012:

  1. Florida: 2,200
  2. Louisiana: 1,800
  3. California: 1,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2012:

  1. New York: -4,700
  2. Minnesota: -3,000
  3. Massachusetts: -1,800
