According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2013:

  1. Michigan: 14,600
  2. Minnesota: 13,800
  3. New York: 13,600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in May, 2013:

  1. Alabama: -500
  2. New Mexico: 200
  3. Nevada: 300
