According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2013:

  1. Florida: 1,600
  2. Louisiana: 600
  3. Kentucky: 500

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2013:

  1. New York: -4,800
  2. California: -3,700
  3. Massachusetts: -2,100
