According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2014:

  1. California: 9,900
  2. New York: 9,400
  3. Illinois: 5,100

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2014:

  1. Mississippi: -1,100
  2. Arizona: -400
  3. Alabama: 0
