According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2015:

  1. California: 10,300
  2. Florida: 3,100
  3. New York: 2,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in August, 2015:

  1. Kentucky: -1,000
  2. Mississippi: -900
  3. Colorado: -500
