According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2016:

  1. Florida: 5,000
  2. Louisiana: 2,800
  3. Alabama: 1,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2016:

  1. New York: -4,600
  2. Minnesota: -2,800
  3. Ohio: -2,100
