According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2018:

  1. California: 8,900
  2. New York: 4,700
  3. Maryland: 2,300

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2018:

  1. Louisiana: -1,200
  2. Mississippi: -500
  3. Florida: -500
