According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2018:

  1. Florida: 1,600
  2. Alabama: 700
  3. Oklahoma: 600

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2018:

  1. Michigan: -3,900
  2. New York: -3,500
  3. Minnesota: -2,900
