According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2021:

  1. North Carolina: -800
  2. Nevada: -1,100
  3. Alaska: -1,200

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Construction industry (not seasonally adjusted) in January, 2021:

  1. New York: -22,400
  2. Illinois: -19,600
  3. California: -19,000
