According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2002:

  1. Tennessee: 1,000
  2. New Hampshire: 800
  3. New Jersey: 400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2002:

  1. Indiana: -3,900
  2. California: -2,800
