According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2002:

  1. Michigan: 12,300
  2. Georgia: 3,100
  3. North Carolina: 1,400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in February, 2002:

  1. Washington: -3,000
  2. Massachusetts: -3,000
  3. Wisconsin: -2,700
