According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2002:

  1. California: 1,400
  2. Indiana: 1,300
  3. Georgia: 1,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in March, 2002:

  1. Ohio: -2,100
  2. Texas: -1,300
  3. Pennsylvania: -1,200
