According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2003:

  1. New York: 800
  2. Mississippi: 600
  3. Delaware: 400

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in September, 2003:

  1. Ohio: -3,400
  2. Indiana: -2,800
  3. Minnesota: -1,800
