According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2004:

  1. Georgia: 1,200
  2. Alabama: 1,100
  3. Arizona: 1,000

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in October, 2004:

  1. Michigan: -4,100
  2. California: -4,100
  3. Indiana: -2,400
