According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2005:

  1. California: 4,100
  2. Texas: 3,600
  3. Florida: 1,700

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Durable Goods industry (not seasonally adjusted) in December, 2005:

  1. Tennessee: -2,300
  2. Michigan: -2,300
  3. Minnesota: -1,300
